Everyone rewards themselves.
The true difference between salesmen and advisors is in the way reward themselves. Sometimes advisors are salesmen….. and,…. sometimes salesmen are advisors.
Only salesmen work well as salesmen because they live and die for the deal……that’s the reward.
On the other hand, advisors tend to do poorly as salesmen since they don’t live and die to make a deal…….. they see a long term relationship as the reward.
